Defensively NYI remains one of the stingiest teams in the league, as we are accustomed to seeing since Barry Trotz took over as head coach in 2018.

Fairly standard scheme with focus on taking away easy plays up the wall, forcing puck battles (F2 into the pile quickly) and getting the puck to the net.
