The Calgary Flames overcome a stirring playoff debut by Dallas Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger and prevail in overtime of Game Seven.
Though DAL almost completes an upset, CGY dictates play throughout. The Flames thoroughly out-perform the Stars at 5v5, doubling the underdogs in shot attempts 97-49.

One of CGY’s biggest competitive advantages is the frequency at which their weak-side defensemen get involved in the play. Instead of standing pat in anticipation of a turnover, Calgary’s WSDs sprint off the puck to get involved on breakouts and in the offensive zone.
